Our file server helps to guarantee data availability especially for smaller projects or addons. You are welcome to host your own server, alternatively we offer to do this for you.
Our file management uses a torrent protocol. This means that data is not cached on our servers, but users share it with each other automatically.
This offers many advantages, for example security privacy and cost.
A disadvantage of this technology is that new data can of course only be shared if a user is online with this data. This is where our seed server helps. It loads all data in parallel to you and offers them to other users around the clock for download.
In addition, the seed server accelerates the data transfer. Other users are no longer dependent on your uplink alone, but can load the data simultaneously from the seed server with dedicated speed.
We can host this server for you so you don't have to.
To do this, you simply have to order a new server under Server Management.
As soon as the server is online, you can see it in your dashboard and get information about it. After you start loading data or retrieving versions, the seed server becomes active.
